Forest honey

This honey has been collected in Zvārde forests, Saldus county.

I placed my apiary about 3 km deep in the forest, thus ensuring that the bees collect honey directly from the various flowers growing in the forest. The forest itself acts as a natural barrier, preventing bees from flying far and forcing them to look for food there, in wild plants and meadows. This special honey was harvested at the beginning of July.

As the honey hardens, the color may differ from the one shown in the picture.
